OS65DV3 Long Filenames

A useful mod to OS65DV3 is to extend the limited 6 character filenames to 14. This allows many possible options to describe your file, such as suffixes and or addresses etc. To do this, 4 locations in DOS need to change:-

$2DE1 change from $07 to $0F

$2DE3 change from $06 to $0E

$2DF1 change from $F8 to $F0

$2DF4 change from $08 to $10

You will also need to convert the existing directories, and there is an assembler program that will convert the currently logged on disk. You can download it from the following link
