A new version of the CPU PCB with provision for a 65C22 VIA
I had wanted to update the CPU PCB for some time and thought now would be good to add some useful I/O in the form of a VIA @$9000. The new black PCBs (version 6.0) are here and have been tested, and I'm pleased to say all is well.
The purist OSI/UK101 enthusiasts will not forgive me, but I have built my new system without the Floppy Disk I/F completely. In it's place
I have attached an SDCard Module to the 65C22. As far as my Advanced DOS is concerned, it still thinks there is a floppy I/F connected and talks to the SDCard as if a Gotek was connected.
It requires a different EEPROM, but that allows the system to load images to each of the four virtual drives, and list the disk images available.
